Welcome to Flat Rock Publishing. 

We are a small press located in Minnesota.  We have released 2 outstanding novels.  In January of 2004 we introduced "Waiting for White Horses" the first novel by Nathan C. Jorgenson. 

In August of 2007 we introduced Nathan Jorgenson's second novel "The Mulligan" a story of second chances.  It is the story of a good guy, Joe Mix, a man who sought something a little deeper from this life.  Joe was unfulfilled by the money and status that came with a successful career.  In the end, he just couldn’t get by the way so many people demanded him to be something less than what he wanted and he goes looking for the life he should have had.

The novel "Waiting for White Horses" by Nathan C. Jorgenson, has been honored with several awards including:

* 2004 Benjamin Franklin Award for Best New Voice Fiction (first book by a new author)

*2005 National Writers Association David Raffelock Award

*2005 Independent Publishers Book Award Finalist

*2005 ForeWord Magazine 2005 Book of the Year Award Finalist
